PrayerSpace is a mosque that is located in lower Manhattan. We aim to foster and promote an understanding of Islam and Islamic culture, and work to advance the values of religious and cultural tolerance. We are a mosque committed to traditional values. Yet, we are diverse in terms of lifestyle, age, and contemporary families.
PrayerSpace will also serve as a multi-purpose Islamic space that will enhance Muslims living, working, and visiting Lower Manhattan. The area is one of the fastest growing communities in New York. The property is located at 49-51 Park Place in New York, NY, and is accessible to all boroughs of New York City as well as New Jersey through public transportation.
Upon completion, PrayerSpace will accommodate over 2,000 people. It will offer a range of services and religious programming, including Qur’an classes, Qur’anic recitation [tajwid], Islamic sciences, Arabic, and others.
Currently, PrayerSpace is open for daily prayers, as well as Jummah Friday prayers. See the Event Page for halaqa times.
